Due to expansion of the northern region, an opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the Northern team as a Senior Consultant within the Manchester office. Candidates should have experience of working within the geo-environmental sector and be technically competent in this field. and an MSc in a relevant field is also preferred (although is not essential). Candidates should hold chartered membership of a suitable industry body for the Associate Director role or, at Principal/Senior level, be actively working towards chartered status.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a successful track record of undertaking Phase I Desk Studies, Phase II Geo-Environmental Investigations and Remediation.
Good communications skills will also be essential, with the ability to complete interpretative reports that are focused on the clients’ needs. Experience of other sectors or additional specialist skills would be an advantage including Geotechnics, Due Diligence, Hydrogeology, and Environmental Risk Assessment.
The ability to lead and manage a team of highly qualified engineers and environmental consultants is essential.
