LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS – UK WIDE
The need
This is about understanding the site and the client's objectives, and then applying the considerable expertise to develop visionary and high quality design solutions, they have produced a multitude of successful designs for city parks, business headquarters, commercial and retail developments, university campuses, resorts and open spaces. All these projects seek to use the team's technical expertise and design flair to produce long-term solutions that are durable and innovative.
The role
My client want to recruit a number of landscape architects across a number of locations to project manage a wide range of landscape lead projects and contribute landscape input and advice to a variety of multi-disciplinary projects delivering on time and within budget. You will undertake production of various forms of presentation material; plans, detailed drawings, reports and power-point presentations. You may be expected to occasionally deputize for the Team Leader and Principal Landscape Architect and they would like you to contribute to the professional development of other members of the team.
The ideal candidates
You will be a Member of the Landscape Institute (Chartered) and be Post Charter qualified. This vacancy would suit an individual with broad knowledge of landscape issues; proven design ability, experience of landscape and visual impact assessment and a working knowledge of the EIA process.
This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate seeking to expand their experience working with other professional disciplines on a daily basis; planners, ecologists, environmental scientists, archaeologists and engineers with an opportunity to undertake management of other team members.
Other requirements include; motivation, professionalism, commercial and client needs awareness and proficiency in Microsoft Office software. Working experience of AutoCAD 2004/2005 and Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop would be advantageous as would having a full clean driving license.
