Geotechnical Engineer/Senior Geotechnical Engineers
Our Client has been around for a number of years and is experienced in the field of Geotechnical engineering, which is the science of soil and rock mechanics, engineering geology all of which is essential for the disciplines of civil engineering design and construction. Their main concern is the preservation and enhancement of the environment. Our client plays a key role in many civil engineering projects, since all construction is built on or in the ground. But you know this anyway, here is what you want to know!
Your Duties
Write technical reports, documents & letters relating to Geotechnical jobs
You will work in one of their Geotechnical design teams providing support for road, rail, property, environment and other projects
site visits as required
Use the geotechnical software to produce project documentation to a high standard
Supervision/mentoring of junior staff - depending on position
Organise sub-contractors and supply staff
The candidates For this role, experience is preferable in Geotechnical design in civil and/or structural projects.
Candidates should ideally have some experience in the design of structural foundations, slope stability, earthwork design and ground investigation.
Your degree will hopefully be in the following - Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or Geology
Have an understanding of geotechnical software.

Salary £22000 - £40000 plus benefits depends on experience and position
