Our client is a leading Environmental contractor operating on national basis. This business is rapidly becoming one of the top contractors/consultants in the UK. They have an outstanding reputation, and have become globally recognised for offering multi-disciplinary engineering services in sectors such as Land Development, Highways and Bridges, Regeneration and Environmental.

Due to a sustained period of organic growth, our client is seeking to secure the services of a technically focussed individual to take a leading role in managing a team of Geo-environmental consultants. Based either out of a busy Manchester office, this role will encompass delivery of Phase 1 and Phase 2 assessments, Waste Acceptance Criteria, Remediation Method Statements and Validation, as well as responsibilities for developing business and growing a team.

The right individual will have an excellent working knowledge of UK contaminated land legislation, statutory guidance and its application to site assessment and remediation. You will have quantifiable UK experience in a related discipline and be fully conversant with running a business unit and the subsequent man management involved. Ideally you will have experience delivering large projects across sectors such as rail, highways, infrastructure and redevelopment. You will have experience liaising at the highest level with Developers, Contractors and Local Authorities and have the drive to develop and grow a successful business unit.
