Our client is looking for a dynamic, versatile individual with an engineering, construction or product design background. You need to be self-motivated and thrive on meeting challenges and exceeding targets. Also you need to have a proven record of working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
All engineering drawings (across s a range of mediums including wood, metal and plastics etc.) work will be in Solid Works (or equivalent CAD package - training provided).
The role:
To convert creative concepts into well considered engineered solutions that exceed our customers expectations.
To manage various project concurrently through the entire design and development process (including; costing, sourcing, prototyping and final production specification).
The typical process:
Research and on-site survey
Development of model/source materials
Bill of materials/volume costing
Prototype specification
Project mange prototype manufacture
Full production specification including:
- Assembly instructions
- Risk assessment
- Method statement
