Senior Quantity Surveyor – Cheshire
Our Client has been practicing quantity surveying and commercial management since inception. Their team of Quantity Surveyors has significant experience in handling commercial aspects of all sizes of projects.
Their expertise in cost management starts with the inception of the project right through to completion and final account preparation. Where some companies have specialisms, they are able to manage all cost aspects of the project from design to procurement and engineering to the M&E elements. They report in detail on any cost analysis, ensuring that the project manager is aware of the results of any action.
They have built an enviable record of retaining 100% of their clients either on ad-hoc projects or within a framework agreement. This demonstrates their commitment to their clients regardless of the size of the project and their determination to respect the individual needs of their clients.

Your Role
This role will manage the day-to-day activities of our clients office including the site QS. This will be managed at our client’s site in Oxford and from our Head Office based in Cheshire.
You will be preparing project estimates and commercial documentation for tender processes and evaluations.
Following award of contracts you will successfully manage the Contract in accordance with the commercial requirements. Other areas of involvement will include risk management, strategy workshops, programme management and reporting systems.
The role will be supported by a Quantity Surveyor and Programmer. You should have some experience in a utilities/civil/oil & gas environment either with a PQS or blue-chip Contracting firm.
