We have an immediate requirement for a Head of Projects on a permanent basis based in the Cheshire area.
Reporting to the Global Head of Operations, the successful candidate will take total responsibility for:
• The profitable delivery of multi-million dollar projects internationally
• Managing all aspects of project delivery and project services
• Managing Project Managers
The successful candidate will ideally have:
• Worked for an international process contractor delivering major EPC projects in the refinery and petrochemical sectors,
• International work experience
• International procurement and shipment of equipment and materials experience
• Delivery of projects based upon licensed technology packages
• Risk Management
• Technical and commercial control of multiple onshore EPC entities
• Familiarity with issues relating to onshore/offshore contract arrangements and respective tax implications
• Familiarity with relevant industry Health, Safety, Environmental issues
Candidates that have skills in; Client management, Negotiation and Leadership, along with the ability to manage and control a multi project teams in various international locations will be advantageous.
Candidates that hold a Degree qualification in a relevant engineering discipline (or equivalent) and are a corporate member of relevant institution will be preferred.
