Title: ESD Engineer

Our client is a world leader in industrial automation and control, test and measurement, information systems, and industry support. They are currently looking for Safety System Engineer to carry out the design, implementation, test and acceptance of Safety Systems of agreed scopes and in addition to provide technical support across the company in both sales and customer service
Skills Required:
Min HNC qualified in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation and Control or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years experience in the Safety Systems industry.
Proven track record in engineering of safety systems and related services
Understand and demonstrate strategies required to design and engineer ESD and F&G systems.
Process industry experience (oil and gas, chemical, petrochemical etc.)
Previous working experience with companies like Ineos/ICI, ABB, Hima Sella, Serck and similar will benefit
The role involves:
Lead small projects up to a defined size
Plan and control allocated work, to time and budget.
Carry out detailed engineering design, configuration and test of safety systems, to include hardware, software and PLC coding.
Support customer witness test of systems, internally and off-site.
Provide technical support throughout our client consistent with specialized knowledge.
Visits to customer sites, world-wide, including short-term assignments.
