Due to a rapidly expanding workload within all its market sectors, Multi-Design is currently recruiting for a Principal Structural Engineer to be based in our Stockport office. We are offering attractive relocation packages. You will have experience of working within an Engineering Consultancy. Capable of leading a team of Civil and Structural Engineers and Designers on large-scale Industrial, Chemical and Process Plant projects, you will be expected to manage a heavy workload, which is varied and long-term.
The Person:
The ideal candidate should be professional and academically well qualified
- Preferably with Chartered status (MICE/IStructE)
- Possess key skills in technical management
- Show leadership qualities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A track record within the UK construction industry
- Experience in designing and constructing with all major structural materials in accordance with current British Standards, Codes of Practice and industry good practice.
- Personable individual able to manage challenging situations
- Have confidence to take a fresh approach to problems
- Foster new ideas, give insight and find solutions to move projects and the business forward. |
