Assistant Buyer

Established in 1964 Four client has grown over the years by diversification into various market sectors, by recognising the potential of growth areas and staying ahead of our competition, they are a quality award winning company with over 40 years of experience within the Construction Industry.

The company provides Mechanical and Electrical contracting services throughout the Public and Private Sector markets, employing over 100 staff all with CSCS cards from design engineers to qualified and experienced trades people operates across the UK and Europe .
Projects are managed from the office or a dedicated site team, depending upon location, size, duration and complexity.

Planned expansion has taken the company into new market areas in terms of industry and sectors with Partnerships and repeat business from our major clients being the focus of our success.

With continued investment into people and resources our client is continually striving to reach their goal of being the UK ’s leading contractor by providing the level of excellence required by their customers, forging profitable business relationships and investing in our people.

The Role

Candidates should have some experience in a similar purchasing or sales role. Experience in the M&E construction industry is a benefit but is not essential as training will be given where necessary.

The role requires working across an interesting & diverse work base covering many specialised areas of the M&E industry. Working within defined time scales & within budget is essential is essential in the role. Candidates will hopefully be a dynamic team player with the desire and ability to succeed.

Training will be provided under the IIP accreditation on an ongoing basis. Candidates must possess excellent Microsoft Office skills as would be expected in the role.
