Design Engineers - My Client Specialises in the design, manufacture, construction and commissioning of High Voltage Substations for their Clients in the UK and Overseas.
Due to expansion they have a vacancy for an experienced Design Draughtsperson to join their team in Sunderland.

The successful applicant will be responsible for a wide range of varied tasks that includes the following:
- Undertaking sufficient preliminary design to allow costing of small Design and Build tenders
- Discussing with the Main Contractor design team on spatial layout, coordination, sizing of risers etc
- Liaising with external design consultants to ensure that service is provided
- Reviewing risk areas and initiating risk management
Candidates must have practical experience of on site application as well as being computer literate in the following: Excel, Word, AutoCad, Outlook, Project web sites and design software.
