Key Duties & Responsibilities:
• Provide expert advice in the area of structural engineering in all phases of project development to
project teams, as required.
• Performing structural due-diligence reviews and audits.
• Review and assessment of projects in accordance with engineering standards, departmental
guidelines and policies.
• Active involvement in value engineering process through detailed technical project reviews and
analyses.
• Drafting and implementing engineering guidelines and policies.
• Identifying and researching innovative design and construction tools and technologies.
• Maintaining high professional standards through continuing education and skill improvement
activities.
Qualification & Skills:
Education and Experience
• Strong preference for post-graduate degree in structural or civil engineering.
• Minimum 12-15 years of work experience.
Specific Knowledge/ Requirements
• Extensive consulting experience in the area of residential, commercial and retail structures.
• Extensive experience in high-rise design and construction.
• Expert knowledge of leading structural analysis software systems.
• Extensive knowledge of international engineering codes and standards.
• Expertise in international design and construction practice in both reinforced concrete and steel
structures.
• Ability to prepare and present structural concepts to project teams.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
