Due to the continued expansion of the Australian operations, this global leader in the delivery of EPC projects has created a new position within the major projects group. As part of the Senior Management Team, the projects Control Manager will be responsible for:-
- Developing the scope, schedule, budget and estimate to complete data for assigned projects. - Determining staffing requirements and assigning personnel to projects. - Managing and maximizing project margins. - Implementing trend and change management programs. - Reviewing all subcontractor and vendor change requests. - Providing technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff. - Assisting with strategic initiatives within the company. - Management of risks that may affect project profit, costs, schedules and client relations.
The successful applicant will be degree qualified in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 10 years experience in project planning/scheduling, project controls and/or cost engineering. Advanced experience with project management software, the ability to demonstrate superior knowledge of project control principles and a proven track record in the technical and practical application of engineering, procurement and construction are essential.
Experience in large industrial/water/wastewater projects is highly desirable.
