We are looking for an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Project Manager with strong airport systems experience to work for an independent consulting and technology solutions company
The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Project Manager would be required to work initially at an airport in Abu Dhabi and take responsibility for managing an ERP project through development, operation and maintenance.
Strong large-scale IT project management experience and prior management experience of ERP implementations is essential for this role
Candidates for the position of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Project Manager must have a good engineering degree (or equivalent), preferably in Systems Engineering, Computing Science, Software Engineering or Electrical/Electronic Engineering and be a Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) and have strong large-scale IT project management experience as well as prior management experience of ERP implementations
Knowledge/overview of system design and development, Requirements elucidation, Specification preparation, tender preparation and evaluation, control of system and software developments, interface and acceptance testing and hand-over is a plus.
It is essential that candidates are commercially aware and able to identify business opportunities as well having some experience of the required airport systems as well as a broad knowledge of systems and software development methods and environments. Project Management experience is essential.
You should be highly motivated and adaptable to change, able to make decisions and drive things forward. A solid electrical/electronic/software engineering skill set and IT experience backed by the ability to think beyond the current requirements, and manage customer expectations effectively is required.
