ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR - PROJECT MANAGEMENT - AMSTERDAM
Our Client is a Global Construction Consultancy currently undergoing massive growth Worldwide. Thus they are looking for an excellent professional Project Manager to lead a team in the Amsterdam office.
You will act as Project Leader and Team Leader including developing the project management function within or Amsterdam office. The position will also include management duties such as recruitment of staff and development of local client base in Amsterdam and the rest of the Netherlands.
• Ensure adequate and economical resources are allocated to Projects.
• Manage Project Team and acts as Project Director and high level contact for Clients.
• Prepares submissions and bids for new business.
• Responsible for budgetary control and invoicing.
• Development of project management functions within European part of the business, based in Amsterdam.
• Travel throughout Europe to support Client's needs.
• Involvement in the development of the European part of the business, including marketing support and Client care
It is imperative that the individual has strong links to clients in Amsterdam and the Netherlands as the existing client base needs to be expanded. We are therefore looking for the successful candidate to have the ability to build a client base from scratch.
We would be looking for the successful candidate to have strong relationships with other consultants and our competitors in the Amsterdam and Netherlands market and provide market intelligence to assist business development and successful recruitment.
Therefore, someone who has worked within the market previously would be ideal.
