Principal Traffic Engineer / Planner

Due to continued growth the Melbourne office is seeking a Principal Traffic Engineer, ideally with working experience as a traffic engineer or transport planner.
You will have a sound understanding of traffic and transport planning of public transport services and associated infrastructure as well as a solid understanding of the traffic and transport issues associated with roads and freeways.
To be successful in this role you will be degree qualified with a successful track record of providing high-level traffic and transportation engineering advice combined with the ability to effectively use analytical and office software tools.
Ideally you will have experience in a range of traffic engineering and transport modelling software.
Key Responsibilities
As a key member of our dynamic traffic and transport team, you will be involved in managing and delivering a range of diverse projects and will be expected to play a leadership role in mentoring and development of junior engineers.
Your key responsibilities include:
Developing and maintaining existing and new client relationships
Identifying, developing and assisting with the winning and delivery of significant projects
Provide mentoring and technical leadership to Traffic teams
Liaison with Traffic Planning Team leaders across the practice
