We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to work on varied and prestigious projects for our operations in the Middle East
Senior Mechanical Engineer
Responsibilities:
�� Undertaking mechanical design elements for major projects
�� Lead Building Services Design on multi-disciplinary projects
�� Managing the production of drawings and reports and preparing co-coordinating mechanical
specifications
�� Supervising and co-coordinating the work of others and co-coordinating work with engineers of
other disciplines
�� Regular liaison and communication with clients and contractors
�� Manage project team to ensure production of deliverables to agreed timelines and within
budget
�� Support the development of junior engineers providing technical guidance, mentoring and
regular feedback
�� Up to date knowledge and experience
�� Liaison with local authorities to ensure the project adheres to local building and safety
regulations, and obtaining approval
�� Experience in sustainable design
Requirements:
�� Degree qualified and have achieved professional qualification
�� 8-12 years of relevant experience
�� Extensive experience in the field of mechanical design, working on projects varying in size and
building type
�� Evidence of the ability to design and deliver mechanical engineering solutions on major
multidisciplinary projects
�� Evidence of excellent leadership skills on major and complex projects
�� Appreciation of the balance of engineering priorities on differing projects
�� Ability to establish and maintain successful client relationships
�� Must be able to demonstrate previous experience of working under pressure and meeting strict
deadlines
�� Excellent planning and organisational and time-management skills
�� Accomplished written and verbal communications skills
�� Able to demonstrate strong commercial awareness
�� Strategic thinker, proven team leader and team worker
�� Accomplished people management skills and experience of managing staff at all levels
�� Relevant LEED experience
�� Relevant high-rise experience
