Your role as a Project Manager will be to achieve production-ready capability
for new products for gas turbine engines. You will provide leadership for the team from new product development kick-off to a production-ready part at the supplier. You will lead the planning, co-ordination and day-to-day management of development project together with the management of project meetings. You will also take the lead in various project phases (Concept, Design, Realisation, Production and Release) and establish the supply chain for the product(s). You will ensure timely occurrence for the design, drawing and project reviews and close out and hand over serial production to order management. Identifying risks and mitigation routes is essential as is establishing financial contingencies for risk mitigation. You will also be required to regularly update all stakeholders involved on the project status.
Ideally qualified to degree level in an Engineering discipline, you will have proven project management experience, preferably gained in a machinery or equipment environment. You will have an excellent ability to achieve results across multi-disciplinary teams and have the initiative and confidence in decision making. Strong communication and problem solving skills are essential and experience / education in Six-Sigma processes would be beneficial. Fluency in English is essential (written and spoken) and German (written and spoken) is desirable.
