Executive Solutions are currently recruiting for a Principal Mechanical Engineer for their international, engineering consultancy based in Dubai. The role will be to manage a team of MEP engineers, interfacing between design and construction and addressing site requests for information for District cooling and power projects.
Our client currently employ over 1500 people in the Middle east, and over 1300 in the Gulf states and have participated in building transportation networks including ports, highways, bridges, airports and tunnels. They have assisted in the development of rural areas through irrigation, agriculture and water-supply projects, many of which have been developed in partnership with beneficiaries. They currently have works across the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Pakistan, Oman, Libya, Syria and Iran with projects arising globally.
Priorities in this role will include:
• Key contact with sub-consultants
• Programming and allocation of AutoCAD staff to project work
• Remainder of time as project manager
The ideal candidate should possess a relevant degree or equivalent and be able to demonstrate the following skills and knowledge:
• M & E management experience, with a mixture of site and design
• Experience of working on multi-disciplinary projects
• The ability to deliver to time, budget and quality
