We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to work on varied and prestigious projects for our operations in the Middle East
Mechanical Engineer
Responsibilities:
�� Provide mechanical design for major projects
�� Prepare and review drawings complete with system design calculations
�� Provide effective communication on project reports and correspondence
�� Ensure work is coordinated with engineers of other disciplines
�� Regular liaison with clients and contractors
�� Support the development of junior engineers providing technical guidance, mentoring and regular
feedback
�� Project and team administration duties
�� Hands on mechanical design for a range of projects
�� Liaison with local authorities to ensure the project adheres to local building and safety
regulations, and obtaining approval
�� Co-ordination with the senior engineers in the creation of design solutions
Requirements:
�� Degree qualified and be working towards professional qualification
�� 5 years post-qualification experience
�� Current track record in mechanical design and up to date experience of Quality Assurance
standards
�� Evidence of the ability to design and deliver mechanical engineering solutions on major and/or
complex projects
�� Appreciation of the balance of engineering priorities on differing projects
�� Ability to quickly develop and maintain successful client relationships
�� Able to work independently with minimum supervision
�� Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines is essential
�� Outstanding planning and organisational skills
�� Excellent written and verbal communications skills
�� Highly motivated, hard-working and demonstrate an ability to take on new challenges
