Working on behalf of a leading Operator this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to work within Houston USA.
The Mechanical Engineer will have the following key responsibilities
• Apply strong mechanical engineering background (e.g. rotating equipment, pressure vessels, piping systems, etc.) to the design, procurement, fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning of offshore equipment and systems • Apply experience in major upstream capital project execution (preferably experienced in offshore facilities)• Ensure that Incident & Injury Free culture is reflected in facility design and all phases of project execution• Interface with other engineering disciplines, business unit personnel, existing facilities and other projects• Work effectively within a multinational project team, business unit personnel and partner representatives
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 10 years related experience.• Bachelor’s degree required in Mechanical Engineering.• Strong mechanical engineering background (e.g. rotating equipment, pressure vessels, piping systems, etc.)• Major upstream capital project design, procurement, fabrication and hookup & commissioning experience (preferably on offshore facilities)• Must demonstrate ability to work well within a multinational team, other engineering disciplines, Business Unit personnel, existing facilities and other projects.• Ability to ensure that IIF culture is reflected throughout all phases of the project.
