Our client, one of the leading engineering consultancy firms in the world, is urgently recruiting for Mechanical Design Engineer for exciting building projects based in Abu Dhabi.
The Abu Dhabi office currently employs approximately 100 plus multi-disciplined engineers within the business groups.
The successful candidate will enjoy a high profile role within this team to develop the business through excellent design skills. Our client has ambitious targets and they need only the best quality people to help them achieve their goals.
Key Role Objective
Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services Group).
Key Areas of Responsibility
Experience in number sectors such as residential, retail, commercial, healthcare projects etc would be an advantage.
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate the following skills and knowledge.
These points should align with the key areas of responsibility:
• Have at least 3 years post graduate experience
• Have a track record of producing quality designs with minimum supervision.
• Be conversant with current good design practice and design methods
• Have experience of working with architectural practices and clients
• Be a member of and or pursuing chartered status of a recognised institute.
• Be a good communicator in written, graphical and spoken format
• Be a team player able to work well with other team members
• Have a good understanding of current software packages relevant to mechanical design
• Must have a desire and ability to produce work of the highest quality within demanding
constraints.
• Having some knowledge of the requirements for LEED certification and a keen interest in sustainable designs
Minimum Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical Engineering
