In this role you will have the primary overall accountability for Project Management for the Boiler business including rehabilitation/modernization of the existing projects as well as for new coming up projects in India, Middle east & Latin America techno–commercial evaluation & time bound implementation of the projects. You will be responsible to Strategize, Conceptualize, Ascertain Commercial feasibility followed by traversing various stages of Projects viz. Conception; planning, design & development; and execution.
Key Deliverables–
Set up state of art boiler projects..preferably HRSG boilers.
Devise, implement and execute project plans
Manage commercial representation and all activities as they relate to this subject
Key Areas of Responsibilities -
Definition of Project Concept and specifications synthesizing inputs of top management and perations.
Managing the design and planning process from concept plans to schematics and finally detailed drawings and specifications, erection and commissioning. Preparation of budgets & time–schedules; and monitoring costs and progress.
Participate in Tendering, negotiation, and award of contracts
Involvement in Planning, specification, and procurement of a wide variety of goods viz.: client supplied materials and fittings in site–contracts, engineering equipment and plants, specialized equipment & so on.
Management of execution at project site with regard to progress of work; quality and finishes; resource mobilization, information inputs and supplies, and interaction of the site with the project management team.
Manage Project Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical and Instrumentation aspects.
Develop an efficient Planning, Scheduling and monitoring system for the projects under execution based on the latest management tools like primavera or M.S Project.
Should have done supervision of boiler based Projects.
Must have done evaluation of commercial energy proposals
Skills and Qualification :
B.Tech- Mechanical / Engineering Degree
Experience :
Experience preferably in leading Multinational Companies/ Professional Indian groups of similar / larger size and scale in Energy, and Power, EPC/ Project Management companies.
Extensive experience in Project Management position in the power generation industry Should have handled multiple projects.
Excellent understanding and network in power generation and power equipment industry.
Excellent project management and execution skills.
Autonomous, rigorous, analytical, curious and creative, result oriented
Excellent team–player and ability to work in multifunctional teams.
Excellent interpersonal skills in international environment.
Strategic Thinker, Good Customer focus & Understanding and Excellent Execution skills.
Seasoned Manager with Experience of working in a Matrix environment and complexities associated with it.
Proven capabilities to develop and maintain high level relationships in the industry but also with local authorities.
Should have proven track record of success in business and to scale up businesses rapidly.
