The client a large EPC is looking for an experienced fired equipment/furnace engineer on either a contract or staff basis with the following experience.
Experience in preparation of equipment data sheets and specifications, material requisitioning packages, technical bid analysis, vendor data and drawing review.
Education and skills required are B.S in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum five (5) years experience with an OEM or Engineering company, and/or in the Chemical Petrochemical, Refining industries dealing with Fired equipment. Knowledge of API 530 and API 560 and other fired equipment related codes and standards. Understanding of Burner Management and combusion control systems including familiarity with NFPA 85. Good Understanding of elevated temperature material properties and selection for high temperature applications. Ability to perform thermal rating a plus
