Calibration Engineer – You will be working on the calibration of passenger car engine and transmission control systems, carrying out tests in the vehicle on the test bed and on the chassis dyno. You will be involved in test planning, assessment and documentation of test results, development of performance and emission related engine components, taking part in test strips and supervising the start of vehicle series production with clients.
You should be qualified to degree level in Automotive, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a comprehensive understanding of internal combustion engines (diesel and gasoline) as well as post graduate experience of calibration at OEM or ECU supplier. You must have strong analytical skills and have an understanding of software structures and algorithms. You should be a good team worker with a flexible approach to work and a current driving licence.
