Application Engineer – Exhaust Measuring Systems – You will be working in the laboratory and on the test stand, executing and evaluating tests on firmware and software versions for exhaust measuring instruments. You will be required to liaise between the measuring department and Powertrain engineering as well as providing technical support to customers and assisting in the improvement of devices and the development of products. You should be qualified to degree level in automotive, control, process engineering or physics, with knowledge of exhaust and particle measurement. You should also have knowledge of the theory of particle formation. You must be customer and solution orientated in your work, and be able to work on your own initiative. This role will involve spending approx 20% of your time travelling to customer sites.
