You will be responsible for
• Applying effective methodologies and best practices to help ensure the highest possible quality with maximum efficiency.
• Identifying improvements in the test process and determine appropriate test strategies
• Developing internal QA teams and methodologies for evaluating game quality
• Reporting status to producers and senior managers and identify risks in a structural manner in terms of quality and project deadlines.
• Making and executing test plans
• Contributing directly to performance evaluation of individuals and teams, compiling objective feedback that is channeled toward both personal and process improvement
Required Skills:
The successful candidate must have:
• A background in rigorous software quality assurance
• Minimum of 10 years experience in QA
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with automated test development
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a QA Manager
• Experience managing a very technical quality assurance team
• Experience with unit and system test frameworks
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing QA outsource partners
• Willingness to move to Iceland
The ideal candidate will also have:
• Experience with Python and C++ a plus
• Experience managing remote test efforts
• Experience in the gaming industry
• A sense of adventure
