Title: Field and Service Engineer (PLC, DCS, ESD, Instrumentation)
Salary: up to £40k+ car

Our client based in Scotland is looking for Service Engineers with Control Systems Experience to work across the Lothian area or the Aberdeen area.
The role includes onshore and offshore maintenance, installation and service work. You will be willing to travel and possibly have a valid offshore certificate. You will also assist with the design and commissioning of the systems (PLC, DCS, ESD, F&G etc) however the primary function of the role includes: technical support engineering on site.
Skills Required:
Min HNC/ONC in Electrical/Control & Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent
Min 2 years of experience in an industrial/technical environment- Process Control and Automation.
Experience in the maintenance of PLC/Safety Shutdown/Distributed Control Systems/
Process industry experience (oil & gas, chemical, petrochemical, water, utilities, power etc.) If you posses an offshore certificate this will be valuable in the selection process but it’s not a pre- requisite.
Previous working experience with international engineering products, including Siemens, ABB, Rockwell, Emerson, Honeywell, Yokogawa or similar will compliment this role
Since this is very much a client focused role you will be required to build good relations with the customer and interpersonal skills are essential.
