Established in 1896, our client has delivered well over 100,000 CNC controlled machine tools, peripherals and systems to customers within the Aerospace and Automotive industries worldwide. They currently employ in excess of 1500 personnel within various locations, through the group holding a large range of horizontal and vertical machining centres and lathes. They are currently seeking a field service engineer to join their service department.
Based from home you will be responsible for the service, fault find, rectification and installation on various CNC controlled machine tools on customer sites across the UK and Ireland. Eventually you will train & develop engineers as well as liaise with management at all levels.
Ideally you will be apprentice trained with a recognised electrical or mechanical qualification or possess previous experience on machine tools as a service or maintenance engineer. You will have excellent fault finding skills with CNC and PLC Fanuc, Siemens or Mitsubishi.
