International Consultancy requires an Mechanical & Electrical Engineer with Hydroelectric PowerHouse experience. The job ibnvolves Assiting the Chief M&E Engineer oversee the Contractors installing the Mechanical and Electrical Equipment in the Power House of the Dam. Quality Control, Technical Control of the O&M Manuals issued by the Contractor, Help with Organisation and supervision of Commissioning Tests, Help with Reports on Progress and Completion. Part of an 9 person Team on the Gurara Project in Nigeria. a High standard of Accomodation provided, Normal Site working hours,Vacation and Flights to Europe,6 weeks leave per year- twice a year if accompanied.
Applicants need to be familiar with this type of project with about 15 years of this tuype of work. Ideally Degree qualified but Higher Diploma as minimum. Site is located 2 hours from the modern city of Abuja by car, transport provided.
