Our client is globally recognised packaging solutions provider; they have an excellent industry reputation for reliability, efficiency and quality and have been directly responsible for increased productivity at various clients’ sites following installation projects.
They now have a position available for a Field service engineer ideally based in or around Bristol to cover the South West, West Mids, and Home Counties regions as well as any overseas projects.
This role involves electro-mechanical engineering of various packaging machinery including, conveyors, vertical / horizontal filling machines and some special purpose machines.
Educated to a good level in both electrical and mechanical disciplines the right candidate will have working experience gained in a similar service / installations position and be familiar with integrated PLC systems (ideally Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley).
This position will require extensive travel throughout the UK and Overseas at short notice so flexibility and a willingness to travel is essential.
