Our Client is a UK based packaging machinery manufacturer who supply a number of industry sectors specialising in the food production industry. Due to internal moves they now require an experienced field service engineer to assist with installation, service and repairs work.
Working from home you will be responsible for the electrical and mechanical aspects of machinery service / installations. The engineer should be familiar with automated PLC control systems, be able to demonstrate experience in a similar field based position and possess excellent communication skills.
This technical position will require previous experience dealing with conveyor systems, PLC controls, automated packaging machinery and robotics. The engineer will be required to stay away from home on regular occasions as well as attend overseas installation and servicing projects so flexibility and an understanding of the lifestyle is imperative.
In return our client offers a good basic salary, paid overtime (qualifying after 39 hrs) company vehicle, 23 days annual leave and the internal support of a well structured business.
