Our client seeks to recruit a lively & self motivated Field service engineer to compliment the existing team of hands on professionals. Able to demonstrate experience gained within the materials handling sector, in particular with equipment including automated storage and handling systems, the right candidate will be articulate, electrically biased with mechanical know how, & have strong PLC skills to enable the effective fault find, service, overhaul & maintenance of equipment within a fast-paced distribution environment.
Based from home covering the UK while being responsible for handling customer enquiries, complaints and problems & report on a daily basis any issues to the Service manager. Working within both customer and company safety regulations and promoting product awareness at every opportunity, it is essential that the successful engineer will be skilled in the fault find, modification and debug of all equipment and comfortable in working with 3 phase electricity, and ideally versed in 16th / 17th
Edition IEE regulations.
