Our client is a global leader in PC based solutions for the construction materials industry; they provide bespoke software and automation solutions to manage the distribution, batching and financial aspects of materials handling for aggregate and concrete distribution.
To compliment their team they require an experienced field service / commissioning engineer who is familiar with installing, testing and troubleshooting electronic control systems.
In addition to installation duties the engineer will be required to provide technical support and advice via phone, meetings and site visits. Some training of site engineers will be required as well as involvement in senior application meetings. Regular visits to client sites will be involved (50/50 office and site based) so a flexible approach to travelling is required.
The successful candidate will be qualified in electrical / electronic engineering and have had previous experience in weighing devices or motor control utilising PC hardware / software.
