Established in 1913, our client specialises in the manufacture, sales & service of a diverse range of CNC thread - grinding machines. They are currently looking to recruit an Applications/Commissioning Engineer; this is an exceptional opportunity for those who wish to travel world-wide.
Based in the Midlands you will be responsible for the static & dynamic testing of grinding machines, development & functional testing of PLC & CNC software and all test and user documentation as well as customer specific application & process development and commissioning to pre/final acceptance of machine tools.
The successful candidate will have excellent verbal & written communication skills, be self motivated and able to work in a team and on own initiative, having detailed knowledge and programming skills on CNC/Drives/PLC. Training will give to engineers who possess a majority of the experience required.
In return my client will offer an excellent salary (either salaried role or basic with overtime payments) plus additional payments for overseas nights away (typically 30% of the year spent in countries such as Taiwan and China) 33 days holiday (including stats), Pension and Life Assurance.
