Senior Electrical Engineer
Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the electrical design elements on multi-disciplinary projects Supervising and co-coordinating the work of others and co-coordinating work with engineers of other disciplines Lead Building Services Design Being innovative in changing the design of buildings through the application of your knowledge of Electrical Engineering Supervision and management of the detailed electrical design and drawing production required Maintaining high technical standards consistent with the project brief Support the development of junior engineers providing technical guidance, mentoring and regular feedback Communicating and liaising with clients and managing client meetings as required Surveys, site investigations and liaison with local authorities
Requirements:
Degree qualified and have achieved professional qualification 8-12 years of relevant experience Extensive experience in the field of electrical design, working on projects varying in size and building type Evidence of the ability to design and deliver electrical engineering solutions on major multidisciplinary projects Extensive knowledge of engineering procedures and design standards Ability to establish and maintain successful client relationships Evidence of a strategic approach to project management drawing upon experience to provide creative and innovative engineering solutions Experience of leading a project team Must be able to demonstrate previous experience of working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines Excellent organisational and planning skills Accomplished written and verbal communications skills Excellent people management skills and experience of managing staff at all levels
