Ground Works & Deep Cleaning Supervisor
Falklands
£28,800 Tax Free

Our client in the Falklands is a large building and maintenance group. They are looking for someone to carry out the role of a Grounds works and Deep Cleaning Supervisor to oversee all the ground maintenance including tarred and gravelled roads and runway repairs plus kitchen deep cleaning operations.

Working on a rotational leave basis you will spend 6 months in the Falklands and 1 month back in the UK for 27 months. Salary per annum is £28K (dependent on experience) is TAX FREE. Accommodation and food are provided, this role also includes free flights to and from the Falklands.

Main duties would include;

• Ensure the grounds maintenance and deep cleaning team are tasked, works are completed on time, progress log is kept up to date, time sheets are completed accurately
• Inspect road network and organise specific repairs as required. This to include asphalting and techcreting plus routine maintenance of the gravel track network including the access tracks to mountain top radar sites on both islands
• Inspect runway and arterial network organising specific repairs as required, this to include over-banding and slurry sealing
• Ensure progress is maintained for all works. Document and record any inspections, changes and work delays
• Forward plan weekly and monthly tasks liaising with clients and custodians as required.
• Ensure all works/projects under your responsibility are carried out in accordance with MOD processes.
• Pack and organise the delivery of materials to remote sites
• Cover in periods of absence of B&CE supervisor
