A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Test and Validation Engineer (m/f), Gas Turbine Development to join the Power division of one of the world leaders in transport and energy infrastructure.
The Power Division based in the beautiful town of Baden, Switzerland is a large and well-established company specialising in electricity generation equipment and services. Through the development of advanced public transport and cleaner electric power production, they are helping to address some of the key issues that face the planet today.
They are currently looking for a Test and Validation Engineer, Gas Turbine Development to plan, specify, coordinate and monitor turbine and compressor related engine and rig tests. In order to achieve these tasks you will define appropriate instrumentation, analyze test engine data, drive the development of new test methods, procedures and techniques and procure test hardware. Qualified to degree level in mechanical or aeronautical engineering, you will have some experience in a similar position and be familiar with gas turbine engineering and high temperature instrumentation techniques. A self-motivated team player with strong organizational abilities, you will also have knowledge in the area of cooled turbine blading design and proven project management skills.
German language classes will be on offer at an onsite language school and a willingness to learn is essential.
Famous for its thermal baths and historic town centre, the small but lively town of Baden is situated just twenty minutes from Zurich and the airport.
