Located worldwide this company provides practical, cost effective studies and solutions that accurately reflect the specific needs and objectives of our clients. Their clients include local and multinational companies, local, state and federal government authorities and numerous large, medium and small enterprises within our area of operations. They have gained a reputation for the successful delivery of investigations, studies, approvals and design (concept and detailed) for major infrastructure projects.
Worldwide, they are considered a leader in modern rail engineering as well as a specialist in rail operations and management. Their rail heritage goes back to the initial commissioning of the New York Subway over 100 years ago.
The companies intention is to create an Australia-Pacific wide team covering all the rail-specific disciplines, including track, signalling, traction supply and rolling stock, with rail project management support. It is not expected that all disciplines will be represented in each location; rather centres for specific disciplines will be created to provide a critical mass, with perhaps one or two other senior staff in a discipline located in other offices. Staff will be required to provide support to other offices and to projects Australia-Pacific wide, as required.
As the Signalling Engineer you would provide technical expertise on a range of projects around Signalling so if you are currently working for one of the Rail Companies in New Zealand or Australia and feel like a change then this could be for you. You would manage a variety of small to large projects and produce quality reports as well as maintaining the existing client base.
Your experience and background would be in either consulting, design, construction and/or maintenance. You would have project management experience together with sound report writing and oral communication skills.
Market based remuneration packages are available and reasonable relocation costs for the right candidate so if this sounds like you then to apply for this role please contact Daniel Gallen on 0064 4 473 6860 or email quoting ref: 132626
