We are looking for signal design verifiers to work for a specialist signalling organisation - the roles are based out of Derby, Birmingham and York. ·Lead a signalling design team as allocated. ·Ensure all engineering details are compliant with and produced and issued in accordance with defined principles and processes ·Verification and validation of Engineering design drawings ·Provide guidance and training for junior staff as required, including assisting with their development. ·Ensure tasks are carried out to time and cost in line with guidelines given. Conform to relevant group and company policies, i.e., Safety, Quality and others. ·Interface with client, testing, installation and other departments as necessary. ·Liase with Design Manager to set up programmes and objectives. ·Carry out performance reviews. ·Manage and record time and assist in providing time estimates for tasks. Assist with testing and commissioning ·PTS ·1.1.130 IRSE Principle Designer Licence ·1.1.160 IRSE Design Verification Licence ·HNC level education in an engineering discipline, experience ·Detailed Knowledge of ·Railway construction methods and materials used. ·Signalling Principles ·Circuits & Components ·Detailed knowledge of Group and company standards and procedures and HSE legislation. ·Good office applications and CAD and CAD standards knowledge.
