Job Summary
Our client is a leading international design, engineering and project management firm, with a strong presence and reputation in the Middle East. This role represents an excellent opportunity to work on signature projects with high-profile clients.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a solid career track within a consultant engineering environment and have experience of managing projects from design phase to completion.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure that all members of the project management teams have a full and common understanding of their duties on the project and that the project phases are managed on time and to budget.
• Have direct responsibility for the project delivery, ensuring that the development and implementation of the project management plan surrounding operational planning, document control, and environment protection is in place and followed throughout the project cycle.
• Oversee and review master planning, contractor pre qualifying, budget evaluation and cost estimations.
• Managing and reviewing construction management of contractors including contractor compliance with schedules, standards, safety and quality control.
• Liaise directly with client to report on ongoing development of project milestones and phases.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• 10 – 15 years experience in managing projects in highways /roads construction, preferably gained from a consulting background.
• Strong project management and team leadership experience some of which must have been gained in Design.
