A fantastic opportunity has arisen for Technical Project Managers, Gas Turbine Sales to join the Power division of one of the world leaders in transport and energy infrastructure.
The Power Division, based in Switzerland, is a large and well-established company specialising in electricity generation equipment and services. Through the development of advanced public transport and cleaner electric power production, they are helping to address some of the key issues that face the planet today.
This is your opportunity to become a key player in the Gas Turbine Sales team based in the beautiful town of Baden. Leading the acquisition and sales efforts of the gas turbine projects, you will represent this fast-growing business to customers and partners.
As Project Manager, you will develop intelligent power plant concepts and establish favourable contract terms in both cooperation agreements with partners and supply contracts with customers.
Qualified to degree level in engineering and/or business with formal training in project management, you will have proven hands-on experience in engineering, construction, project management and/or the selling of industrial plants. You will also have in-depth knowledge of the global power generation market and its key players and be familiar with the technical concepts of thermal power plants. Moreover, you will have a good understanding of project commercial issues, financing, and contracting and have experience of working in an international business environment. A decisive, convincing individual with proven negotiation and leadership skills, you will be able to motivate project teams to achieve demanding goals under considerable time pressure. Conversational and technical competence in additional languages, such as Spanish, French, or German, is beneficial
German language classes will be on offer at an onsite language school and a willingness to learn is essential.
Famous for its thermal baths and historic town centre, the small but lively town of Baden is situated just twenty minutes from Zurich and the airport.
