Waterman Group, one of the UK’s top 20 firms of consulting engineers are currently seeking a Bridge Design Engineer to work at our operations in Dublin.
We employ around 1750 staff in the UK and provide a full range of multidisciplinary services to a wide range of public and private sector clients throughout the UK and internationally.
Being of chartered or near chartered with considerable post graduate experience in preliminary and detailed design of pedestrian, road and rail bridges, the successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the BMRB/NRA Road Design Manual as well as BS5400.
In addition you will have been responsible for all aspects of bridge design, including foundations, abutments and wing wall structures, experience of working in a D & B environment would be an advantage.
The position will be as lead bridge designer reporting to a Director, there is considerable scope for advancement in this position, and for the building of a larger bridge design team around the right person for this role.
