Waterman Group, one of the UK’s top 20 firms of consulting engineers are currently seeking an Assistant Traffic Engineer to work at our operations in Dublin.
We employ around 1750 staff in the UK and provide a full range of multidisciplinary services to a wide range of public and private sector clients throughout the UK and internationally.
The successful candidate will have a solid background in the preparation of traffic improvement schemes, traffic impact assessment and transport planning, and should be familiar with either VISSIM or PARAMICS as well as ARCADY, PICADY, TRANSYT, and LINSIG.
The role will involve both providing specialist advice on traffic and transportation issues on some of the largest and most complex developments in the country, and working as part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for planning and design of the infrastructure requirements for residential, office and retail schemes throughout the country.
Strong communication, presentation and technical report writing skills will be essential as the role will involve significant interaction with clients and other third parties. This role offers significant opportunity for advancement to the right candidate.
