We are looking for an Airport IT Security Manager to work for an independent consulting and technology solutions company at an airport, initially, in Abu Dhabi
The Airport IT Security Manager would be required to take responsibility for developing, maintaining and promoting IT security guidelines, policies, and procedures for the consultancies' client.
Strong international airport IT security experience and knowledge of ISO27001 are essential. -
Candidates for the position of Airport IT Security Manager should have a good engineering degree (or equivalent), preferably in Systems Engineering, Computing Science, Software Engineering or Electrical/Electronic Engineering and be a Chartered Engineer (or equivalent)
The position of Airport IT Security Manager will involve taking responsibility to ensure that the Airport IT Security meets all stakeholder requirements.
The Airport IT Security Manager must be able to validate the supplier's design and check its conformance with appropriate standards as well as leading the implementation of the Airport IT Security on behalf of the company's client.
The post holder will need strong airport experience and qualifications in one of the following - Systems Engineering, Computing Science, Software Engineering or Electrical/Electronic Engineering
Candidates must be commercially aware and able to identify business opportunities and have experience of some of the required airport system as well as a broad knowledge of systems and software development methods and environments and, preferably, Project Management experience.
The role will involve evaluating tenders, making recommendations to the client and working with the successful bidder to implement their systems.
You should be highly motivated and adaptable to change, able to make decisions and drive things forward. A solid engineering skill set and IT experience backed by the ability to think beyond the current requirements, and manage customer expectations effectively is required.
This is an opportunity to join a growing specialist consultancy team supporting the company's client through complete airport development projects. You would be working for a UK based company whose role in Abu Dhabi is to provide systems and domain expertise from project inception through to operational handover.
