My client is looking for a planning engineer to join their Abu Dhabi Branch.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
• Review the contractor's master and detailed time schedules that prepared by CPM techniques, including work break down structure, sequence of works, priorities and resources required for the execution of the project as manpower and equipment ensuring that they meet project's requirements and specifications.
• Approval of Contractor's time schedule.
• Preparation of coordinate programme for Mechanical & Civil Contracts.
• Review Contractor's monthly reports including the monthly updated programme, S-curves, quantities of work done and the resources compared with the contract approved target programme.
• Preparation of weekly, monthly annual progress reports to the client showing actual versus scheduled work status.
• Attending construction progress and co-ordination meetings.
• Review of Contractor's time extension claims and recommend the effect of changes on time schedule.
• Advising Project Manager on the delays in the projects and the consequent effects.
Qualifications
• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or higher.
• Total 7-10 years of experience including 3-4 years as Planning Engineer in similar projects for Housing.
• Proficiency in Primavera 3.1 or P5 and good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint with excellent command on English language.
Arabic speaking would be highly beneficial. |
