Responsible for:
Structural design works in any project. Working Relationships: Assist the Lead Engineer (Structures).
Objective:
Maintain a quality control to achieve a timely project and contribute to the success of the department.
Role Profile: The candidate will be responsible for reviewing the submittals of structural design and specifications, checking and ensuring Engineering Quality Design of independent consulting firms that are carrying out the detailed engineering.
Key Tasks:
Participate in technical review of design including quality of engineering drawings, specifications and ensure meets ADPC requirements. The scope of the technical review includes structural analysis of bridges, buildings, marine terminal platform and power stations
Direct a design control program monitoring and measuring the design progress of the designers.
Overseeing technical evaluation of all designs to ensure quality drawing, specification and report production. Key Performance Indicators:
On-time delivery of projects to require quality and content.
Performance feedback from other managers.
Desired Candidate's Profile
Profile Qualifications:
• University graduate with BS in Engineering or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years experience gained in Engineering Design and experience on works of a similar nature
• Familiar with the Practices and procedures of International Codes and Standards.
Competencies:
The candidate should be have
• Professional design capability.
• Fluent in English language.
