SENIOR DESIGN ARCHITECT, DUBAI
My client is an award winning integrated Architecture and Engineering firm with offices in America, Canada and Dubai. It is part of a growing international oriented firm with projects around the world. Since first opening its doors in the United Arab Emirates in 1990, the country has emerged as the most dynamic economy in the region. Indeed, the unprecedented investment and growth in the Emirates is unparalleled and has put the cities of Dubai and Abu Dhabi clearly in the international mainstream. Over this time, they have been responsible for the design of some of the major landmarks in the Emirates. In fact, they have been so successful over the past five years the practice has expanded to include significant projects in Kuwait, Qatar and Jordan.
We are looking for a senior architect, for our Dubai office, who has a minimum of 10 years experience in the design of complex projects. Candidates should have the flexibility to work in a wide range of project types, but in particular should have an interest in commercial, hospitality and/or institutional work.
As the leader of a project design team, the candidate will be responsible for confirming design parameters, working with the design principal and engineering disciplines to generate the overall design concept, producing and making presentations, managing the design team and the design process throughout the life of the project, and working with the project manager to maintain the design within budget and time constraints.
In addition to possessing an aptitude for design and problem-solving, the Senior Design Architect must have the ability to work effectively in a team environment and must be well-versed in AutoCAD and 3-dimensional design software.
