Professional engineer able to meet the following criteria:
* Have a minimum of 15 years of professional experience, local UAE experience should be considered as a bonus.
* A minimum of bachelor or equivalent university degree from a recognized institution.
* Should be conversant with British and American engineering codes, local authorities’ regulations and other key international documents.
* Have extensive design experience including steel, PT and RC structures.
* Have recent high-rise design experience.
* Able to drive the design process by closely interacting with consultants and management team.
* Be able to work in a multicultural environment.
The main duties include:
* Review of technical documentation including engineering drawings, technical specifications, and specialist consultant reports.
* Code compliance assessment.
* Critical review of structural system safety and economy.
* Tender documentation evaluation.
* Assisting in prequalification of engineering consultants.
* Producing design briefs, scope of work, schedules of deliverables, assessment reports.
* Representing the organization in front of local authorities, as required
