The successful candidate will be responsible for project delivery from preconstruction through to completion. Reporting to the Construction Manager this is a site based role and key responsibilities include:
• Project completion to budget, programme, and specification.
• Coordination of design in line with best practice.
• Monitoring and reporting on progress and costs.
• Management of risk and opportunity.
• To act as a focal point of contact for all sub contractors.
• To ensure the project is carried out in accordance with companies QMS system.
• Manage and develop stringent health and safety and environmental procedures.
• Able to demonstrate sound commercial and contractual judgement.
Key Candidate Attributes as follows:
• Track record of Project Management within an EPC contractor or a client organization.
• Proven experience of new build projects in access of a $100 million.
• Experience in the construction of chemical plants preferred.
• Engineering background with strong commercial acumen.
• Computer literate with knowledge of scheduling.
• Strong interface and relationship building skills.
• Technically competent with the ability to command respect professionally and personally.
